Un mes después de la investigación anticipada realizada por GZ Brain a fines de septiembre (Chihayafuru 3 ocupó el número 1), el mayor operador de telefonía móvil japonés NTT Docomo realizó una encuesta de investigación en línea regular para preguntar a los usuarios de su servicio de transmisión Anime Store que anime de otoño todavía estaban viendo como sus favoritos.
La encuesta se realizó entre el 23 y el 30 de octubre, y se emitieron un total de 113,925 votos para los 39 títulos que han estado disponibles a través del servicio (My Hero Academia 4ta temporada y PSYCHO-PASS 3 no están incluidos). Se permitió votar por varios títulos.
